Back to reality

Well here I am, after almost three weeks of being back on land, I’ve well and truly settled back into the teaching grind. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds (and certainly not as glam as the QE). Early mornings, planning lessons and marking books. However, being back at school and teaching one of my old classes (after three years), it’s a pleasure to see them more mature and be able to get them ready for high school.

That said, I often think about the ship and where she’s heading to on her next voyage. It’s hard not to when typical Manchester rain is pelting against your window as Autumn makes its way in! I do love this time of year though; jumpers, scarves, coats and hot chocolate. Cosy!

I’ve decided to take the time to continue writing my blog for the countries I visited during the second voyage. I hope you’ll continue to follow my journey and enjoy reading about the places I’ve discovered!

Where first… Norway!
