It’s day six of my voyage around the Baltic’s and we are at sea…again! (Thankfully, it’s our last sea day for the next four days) I’m putting all of the emotions that come with a sea day into a box and enjoying my three hour break.
Currently, I’m perched right on the nose of the Queen Elizabeth with nothing but blue sea in front of me. I love this view. Music in my ears, nothing to think about and the wind flowing through my hair. Ahh I’ll stop fantasising, but it is beautiful!
We are slicing through the Baltic Seas heading towards Sweden where Stockholm will be our next port. I’ve never been to Sweden before. My expectations are that it will be a modern, clean and pristine city; perhaps with some modern architecture. I’ve been doing a little bit of reading and the country is made up of little islands. I’m interested to explore more!
Tomorrow, with the morning off work until 2pm, I’ve planned a tour to visit where else but the ABBA museum – oh when in Sweden!
That’s all for now on this delightful sea day.
For now, it’s back to being a ‘Super Trooper’ in the kids zone and enjoying the view from the window…
Ps – The sunset tonight was stunning. A bright beam of light from the sun shone down leaving a crystallised sheen on the surface of the sea.
